We’re looking for a Data & Customer Analytics expert to join this digital-first mobile payments and banking scale-up as they continue their incredible trajectory of growth, going into their next phase of expansion.

Think street food, mobile enterprise and small business.

The goal is to enable these businesses to thrive by creating an innovative and intuitive platform for them to manage their finances.

Now the team needs an Analytics champion who can enhance and expand on an already successful data culture. Driven by machine learning and AI, analytics and insights we need someone who can continue to build new solutions around customer insight, banking security and overall product development.

You will work directly with an incredible female leader who has recently joined to drive data democratisation throughout the business; you will be her right hand person, an advocate for the use of data in all decision making.

You will come from a statistical analytics background, likely still with hands on skills using programming tools such as R or Python, supported with advanced skills in SQL, to dip into projects when needs be, building out use cases and road mapping projects for the company around BI, reporting, data visualisation, deep dive analytics and measurement of key KPI’s.

Skills & Experience

• Educated to Masters or Degree level in a STEM subject; Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics etc.
• Strong programming skills with Python and SQL, ETL pipelines
• Proficient understanding of cloud data storage and principals
• Strong problem solving skills and innovative approach
• Ability to build influential relationships with key stakeholders
• Team leadership experience required
