Overview:

• Salt are thrilled to be partnered with an exciting remote first PropTech organisation who have combined years of Real Estate knowledge with cutting-edge AI, ML and data collection to reshape the landscape of property portfolio management.
• The focus of a Lead Data Architect is to own the architecture for the unification of the suite of SaaS products on offer. You will operate on both a strategic and technical level.

Responsibilities of a Lead Data Architect:

• The focus of a Lead Data Architect is to Shape the vision, design, architecture and roadmap for Data Engineering
• Lead the technical direction for data architecture across one or more products
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Tech Leads and Data Scientists to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
• Design and implement scalable, optimised, and maintainable data solutions using industry best practices by leveraging design patterns and libraries

A PropTech spin off from an established Asset Management organisation, dedicated to building products with solutions across Portfolio Management, Operational Assets and augmentation of data in order to allow their clients to make informed decisions. Currently experiencing a period of expansion with the aim of unifying their products into an extremely well-rounded offering.

Requirements of a Lead Data Architect:

• Experienced Senior Engineer with expert knowledge of Data Engineering, Data Architecture and Data Modelling practices and tools
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies and data management
• Expert knowledge of ETL design
• Experience with ticket management systems, code repositories, estimation techniques, solution design, data governance
• Excellent communicator with the ability to demonstrate both technical and strategic thinking
• Experience working on a Real Estate or Asset Management product is a plus. Ideally you will exposure to owning the architecture of a SaaS product.
