Job Description:

We are working with a leading SaaS product-first business looking for an experienced Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and working with ElasticSearch to optimize our search capabilities. As a Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer, you will be a key contributor to developing and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring that our systems are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using modern technologies and best practices
• Develop and optimize search capabilities using ElasticSearch
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data infrastructure needs
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability throughout our systems
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production environments
• Develop and implement data security policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data infrastructure and search technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in data infrastructure engineering
• Strong experience with ElasticSearch and associated technologies
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud computing, and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of data modelling, database design, and SQL
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
