HR Assistant

This client is looking for someone who can bring a positive and go-getting attitude 1 a proactive approach is necessary, someone who is willing to take initiative and put in 100%. Responsibilities:

Colleague Life Cycle

  • Create and send offer packs for both Retail and Head Office new starters
  • Input monthly payroll changes including new starters, changes of contract and leavers into payroll, scanning relevant documentation for compliance in a timely manner
  • Manage Head Office new starter inductions, to ensure all colleagues are welcomed warmly
  • Probation period tracking and checking in with Line Managers, escalating issues where necessary
  • Manage the exit interview process with support from the Head Office Senior People Advisor
  • Manage all relevant systems appropriately, being the expert for all queries. This includes existing systems in place, and the new HR system launching early 2021.
  • Management the Long Service process, ensuring related activity is actioned on time
  • Supporting with compiling people related analysis and reporting

Recruitment

  • Retail recruitment administration – support HR Officer to advertise roles, progressing relevant applications through to Hirings Managers for review
  • Head Office recruitment administration – support HR Officer to advertise roles, arranging interviews where necessary, and the end-to-end management of entry level recruitment
  • Help to support with the soon to launch ATS, to ensure seamless candidate experience and communication

Internal Comms

  • Help to compile and send all internal People communications to Head Office and Retail
  • New starter communication to Line Manager, ensuring team are prepared with induction, desk, equipment etc
  • Manage any Maternity and Paternity leave timely communication to employee and line manager
  • Organising company invents including lunches and away trips.

Talent Management and ER

  • Providing views and insights on Talent, to inform future department moves and progression opportunities for Entry positions
  • Management of entry level ER cases across Head Office and Retail
