Summary
Salt’s client is looking to add a contract Assistant Traffic and reporting manager to their team, to ensure the best possible performance during a busy period of transition.

About the role
Your key accountabilities will include:
* Be an expert on marketing performance through use of analytics and data driven insights; understanding and explaining holistic performance trends based on customer-level metrics, then making recommendations for improvement
* Understand, interpret and explain the link between the performance of individual marketing channels and the holistic performance of the business
* Develop close collaboration with Customer Insight on building customer based metrics and show how these relate to marketing channel performance
* Work closely across all digital marketing channels to create, deliver and track against accurate traffic and revenue plans. Ensure these plans are aligned with both business growth expectations and evolution of the marketing mix
* Report weekly on marketing performance at a channel level to senior business stakeholders with clear actionable insights and recommendations
* Feed marketing insights into board level reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
* Facilitating use of multi-touch algorithmic marketing attribution tool across the marketing function, ensuring insights are correctly interpreted and stakeholders are equipped with the tools they need to make actionable decisions

About you
Your skills and experience will include:
* Solid understanding of SEO, Paid Search, Display Advertising, Affiliates, CRM and Social marketing channels
* Experience of working with marketing analytics experts as well as media channel experts and agency partners
* Extremely results driven with a history of delivering short and long-term customer targets
* Strong analytical mind set, numerical skills are essential along with excellent problem-solving skills
* Strong oral, written and formal presentation skills, ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way
* Excellent stakeholder management, proven experience of influencing in a complex business
* An original thinking, adept at problem solving and finding new ways of working
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Experience with Adobe Analytics (Omniture) or equivalent analytics platform e.g Google Analytics is required
* Experience working with multi-touch algorithmic attribution platforms is an advantage
* Data visualisation experience with packages like Spotfire / Tableau an advantage
