Salary: £45k – £55K + bonus

Location: 1-2 days in the London office

The purpose of these roles are to evaluate the performance of the organisations digital marketing channels and provide data-led, strategic recommendations for how the digital marketing channels can be optimised to support customer acquisition and channel growth targets.

This position would be great for a customer analyst looking to upskill in digital analytics or a digital analyst that has strong SQL and Google Analytics experience. The priority in terms of skill set SQl, data presentation and being able to turn data into meaningful insights that can be presented to various stakeholders.

  • Extract, merge and interrogate customer-level data supplying actionable insights and using data output to build dashboards for key stakeholders
  • Understanding key metrics, analysing and interpreting trends and making recommendations for marketing channel innovation and development based on data
  • Develop expertise in the channel metrics across the owned and earned digital marketing channels to make recommendations to the team
  • Present analytical findings in a visually compelling manner, with recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Help drive core insights from the data to suggest testing strategies that drive improvements to customer acquisition
  • Interrogate web analytics and in-channel marketing platform data with the aim of making recommendations that will lead to uplifts in traffic, revenue, conversion and return on advertising spend (ROAS)
  • Identify the key customer journeys and channels

Key skills:

  • Strong analytical mindset and skills, specifically demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrable experience of SQL/Python to investigate and interrogate large databases to deliver meaningful insight
  • Be able to process data from various sources in an organised and logical manner
  • Demonstrable knowledge of digital marketing metrics across core digital marketing channels
  • Desirable knowledge of how channels interact with one another including Direct, SEO, Paid Search, Paid Social, CRM (Email/Push/App), Display and Affiliates
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience using Enterprise-Level Analytics e.g., Adobe/Google
  • Possess excellent presentation skills, with the ability to influence colleagues and cross-functional teams
  • Degree level or higher
