Role: Digital Insight Manager

Location: West London

Day rate: £350-£400 via LTD

Contract length: 6 months

As a Digital Insight Manager you will join an evolving Digital department in London. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Activation you will be responsible for driving the insight agenda forward and promoting strategic insight and analytics.

The Digital Insight Manager is a data-driven analyst who identifies and provides useful insights and helps inform decisions using a wide range of tools & platforms.

Understanding the value of data is key to implementing successful strategies that facilitate agile and effective business growth. Correctly harnessing data can help the client take fact-based decisions and improve the customer and prospect experiences.

This is a vital role in helping to shape the client’s understanding of their customers and prospects using analytical tools and techniques to deliver real insight and value.

The role holder will provide accurate and timely high levels of data analysis and customer insights information presented in a format which enables the teams to identify trends and improve performance/ROI.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage all internal reporting and analyses across paid, owned & earned media
  • Familiarise with all necessary reporting tools (internal and external) and agree with each stakeholder on reporting required
  • Query data on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and ensure that outputs from reports are effectively captured. Question when things can be done better and identify improvement areas
  • Adept at analysing large amounts of detailed information, identifying trends, patterns, anomalies and opportunities
  • Responsible for monitoring performance against specific KPIs, including progress against targets
  • Manage, interpret and debrief findings with key stakeholders to demonstrate the impact of insights
  • Translate and visualise data to communicate complicated information in simple and easy understandable ways
  • Analyse existing data to understand behaviour patterns more fully and propose Test & Learn strategies that can help us improve performance
  • Facilitate agreement with key stakeholders and work with them as an insight enabler and collaborator
  • Contribute to and work collaboratively with immediate team and cross functional counterparts, speedily responding to internal and external ad hoc requests for data insights as required

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • A proven track record in an ecommerce, research or media agency environment delivering projects for global brands
  • Experience using GA, Data Studio and CRM analytics software (database query tools would be an advantage) to gain meaningful insight to inform business stakeholder decisions
  • Be able to provide multiple examples of the hands-on experience in building reporting as well as the analysis to inform and influence leadership teams
  • Experience of using business intelligence and visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Self starter, highly motivated to excel with minimal supervision
  • Ability to transform data into compelling and engaging stories
