Mobile App Analyst

Greater London Contract £400.00 - £500.00 per day

Salt’s client, a leading figure in the Financial Services industry is on the hunt for a Mobile App Analyst to join their Analytics team to offer valuable support with the enhancement of their commercial performance, driving best-in-class reporting capabilities and providing actionable insights into consumer engagement/monetisation to help shape their product roadmap.

In this role, you will work across multiple areas of the business to continually develop and improve their analytics capabilities, ensure that the team is up to date with the latest developments in mobile app analytics and data privacy and effectively collaborate with technical leads and developers to ensure that analytics is built into product development. The successful candidate will hold prior experience of app analytics gained across roles in large e-commerce companies.

Key Role Requirements:

  • Create a suite of reports and insights from an array of data sources and provide a holistic view of their customers.
  • Identify and execute process efficiencies and improvements to current reporting.
  • Support Optimisation Managers to report and analyse the performance of A/B tests.
  • Review roadmap and set up of tests on app, applying advanced analytics and statistical methodologies to improve the robustness of optimisation testing.
  • Deliver a review of traffic and demand as well as site behaviour and engagement to investigate changes in performance and issues that may arise within the customer journey.
  • Produce analysis on trading changes and user behaviour trends.
  • Conduct customer journey mapping sessions that deep-dive into user behaviour and trends and translate insights into recommendations that enhance the online user experience of app pages.

Key Skills Required:

  • Hold experience in app analytics preferably within large e-commerce companies.
  • Strong excel skills
  • Previous experience with Google Analytics and experience in Mixpanel would be a great advantage but not essential
  • Prior knowledge of GA4 is advantageous
  • Ability to write SQL queries and using BigQuery to join data sources.
  • Be a data driven individual with previous experience in analysing customer trends and behaviours
  • Ability to clearly communicating results to varying levels of stakeholders.
  • Hold an excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident communication skills are essential with the ability to work effectively in a team based environment
