Online Drinks Retailer
Salary: £65k plus 10% bonus and discounts.
Location: 2 days in the office in in London remainder from home
Working as part of the Product Team, under a very impressive senior female leader, with a wealth of experience in online retail – you will join a division that has tripled in size over the last year (!), you will take the lead on delivering product analytics for their ecommerce website. And further to this growth, the business are now investing in a number of key projects which you will play an integral part of; Re-defining the events framework and a tooling review.
In house they currently use Heap, so any experience here would be viewed favourably, otherwise they are very open to people with skills in a range of tools including Google Analytics and Content Square. You will have the responsibility of reviewing which tools are fit for purpose and which should be brought into the business and used moving forward.
Additionally, you will work closely with the Design and Research team to deliver a scalable framework for event-based tracking of digital products; a foundational exercise, underpinned by ongoing experimentation work (they have 20-30 A/B tests running at any one time!) working to reduce the cycle time, to improve the chance of success. You will also look to bring in new data sources, both quant and qual to compliment and support ongoing product analysis and performance improvement.
Additionally, you will need to leverage strong coding skills using SQL to pull and manipulate data in order to generate actionable, highly commercial, insights and build reports around product performance. You will be business facing and so will be presenting and visualising data, bringing to life findings through engaging dashboards – they are currently onboarding Looker, but still have their licenses for Tableau until they make the transition … so experience with any reporting and data visualisation tool will be considered.
Skills & Experience required:
· Educated to degree level
· Proven experience working in a digital optimisation or product analytics role
· Proven experience in a similar role for an e-commerce based business / transactional website
· Strong web analytics knowledge, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data
· Experience working with or as part of development teams
· Experience of business benefits/success metrics and OKRs
· Preferred experience of Agile development environments
