JOB TITLE Senior Customer Insight Analyst

Salt is partnering once again with this Luxury Goods Company as they look to hire a new addition to their growing Analytics division. They are looking for a Senior Customer Insight Analyst, reporting directly to the Head of Customer Insights to support in effectively providing actionable customer insights to the business and championing customer centricity across the company.

In this role you will lead the vision on how quality of data is governed and support in expanding the sources and types of the data collected. You will also act as lead for several data initiatives and projects e.g., Customer persona and be the POC for any data related topics or projects, joining the dots between the different various data system and sources.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Lead in creating a single source of truth and hold charge of various data related projects
• Support in building out ideal customer profiles and plan how data is captured and stored
• Effectively review and propose new customer segments, developing an attribution model that is suitable to the business
• Support the business on creating customer personas and devise how it’s mapped back to the existing database
• Ensure quantitative & qualitative data capture optimisation at all touchpoints to drive strategies
• Define strategies to improve data capture
• Be in charge of mining data and preparation of reports for executive leadership
• Oversee responsibility for manual reporting and automated dashboard creations
• Leverage and utilise customer data to produce actionable insights
• Ability to proactively discover new trends and key insights to support future business decisions
• Ensure the team are capturing, tracking and using relevant data across multi-touchpoints of customer journey
• Effectively deliver valuable insights into customer’s behaviour at different stages of their lifecycle

Key Skills Required:

• Strong analytical background (especially in customer insight/marketing and campaign analytics)
• Expert knowledge of SQL and BigQuery(optional)
• Proficient with data visualisation tools e.g. Looker, Data Studio, tableau.
• Confident communicator in delivering actionable insights, data story and turn complex statistical analysis projects into meaningful business and commercial conversations with implementable recommendations
• Possess an understanding of digital and performance (Google Analytics)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Awareness of the luxury/retail industry advantageous
