Senior Customer Insight Analyst

Salary: £60k plus 10% bonus

Location: 3 days in office Central London / wfh

This fashion house has been established for over 100 years and owns some of the most recognisable names in men’s luxury clothing and leather goods. Following the recent appointment of a new Chief Digital Officer (ex-Boston Consulting Grp, Burberry and a Harvard Graduate!), our client are investing heavily into digital and in turn data; which is where this role comes in. You will own all the customer data and have a key role in commercial business partnering, taking a proactive approach, going out to different areas of the business to gather insights requirements.

Being the first SME in this area for the company, and with data everywhere, you will need to join the dots for key stakeholders, brining it to life and making results, reports and insights engaging through beautiful data visualisations and presentations.

The role will be broad, and there is a lot to do, so there is opportunity for this person to apply analysis across marketing performance, customer behaviour and journey measurement, ad hoc insights projects and web optimisation. Leading lots of different data related projects

Sharing expertise – market mapping – broad thinking – v. hands on with this

Lots of manual data manipulation – data is everywhere – how do we join the dots?

Questioning how we do things and being curious about finding solutions

Natural capability when it comes to numbers but also understands that not all data is accessible – creative and pragmatically minded

Gravitas to make decisions based on this data – clear communicator – strong influencing skills

Ability to present a complex concept to various stakeholders – simple and concise approach

Experience connecting different data sources – 1st party data / 3rd party data

Experience required:

· Educated to degree level or higher in a numerate subject; Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operational Research, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering or Computer Science).

· An advanced user of SQL

· Exposure to data visualisation tools and building out engaging dashboards using PowerBI, Qlik, Looker, Tableau or similar

· Experienced in mining large and complex customer data sets – both structured and unstructured

· Experience in working with either Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics

· A background in customer or marketing analytics is essential, ideally around customer journeys
