Digital Marketing Manager (Contract)

Greater London Contract / 2 Months £230 - £300 per day

I am working with a British Retail Company and household name, who are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager (contractor) to support the Digital and Trading Team on a contract starting ASAP and finishing 2nd April 2021.

This role will focus on driving high quality traffic through online channels, ensuring the digital team and agencies are performing to a high level to meet traffic targets, while maintaining a strong ROAS and profitable ecommerce P&L.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the key KPI of traffic for the website.
  • Build, own and deliver the brands digital marketing strategy working across functions to ensure strategy is customer first.
  • To drive both acquisition and retention including PPC, paid social, affiliates and display.
  • Ownership of relationships with digital agency and affiliate partners to ensure all channels are delivering against key performance indicators.
  • Oversee cohesive customer lifecycle journey in CRM including, with the CRM specialist. Use this data synergistically to fuel paid social targeting and personalise messaging cross-channel.
  • Provide the creative teams with detailed briefs around the required digital assets to ensure campaigns are successful.
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities for organic search improvement and work with the web development teams / SEO agency to ensure new site initiatives are built in accordance with SEO best practices.
  • To report against agreed KPI’s on Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly basis

Person specification:

  • Proactive ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment and motivate a team.
  • Extensive experience in ownership of budgets and working to demand targets with e-com teams.
  • Experience in management of both digital marketing teams and agencies.
  • Strong commercial skills with experience working to ROAS goals, optimising margin within marketing activities and working closely with finance teams.
  • An entrepreneurial approach, willing to step out of the confines if your role if necessary, particularly in relation to brand marketing.
  • Extensive experience in ownership of budgets and working to demand targets with e-com teams.
  • Pace, energy, and passion.
  • Strong analytical capability and GA competency
  • Experience working closely with C Suite executive teams
  • Experience managing CRM reports would also be beneficial, however not essential.
