Digital Media Strategist – South East London – £55k – £65k

A global travel brand are looking for a Digital Media Strategist to take full ownership of their Paid Media Strategy.

You’ll be fully responsible for a multi-million-pound budget, deciding which digital channels to spend on. This is a great opportunity for someone to really own it, as the first in this role, reporting directly into the CMO.

You won’t have direct reports immediately but will work with the global performance teams (Australia, US, EU, and Canada) who will execute your strategy.

You can work flexibly/remotely when required. However, if you’re looking for a 9-5, then this probably won’t be right for you.

What you will do:

• Work with the regional marketing, and performance teams to identify and implement strategies across multiple digital channels (Display, Search, Social and Video)
• Allocate a significant media budget across all channels
• Promote innovative media strategies, testing them regularly to drive measured results
• Pre and post-analysis on campaigns, understanding cost, ROI and making amendments to improve performance
• Be creative in your approach, by really understanding your consumer and the changing digital landscape
• Report back on campaigns to senior stakeholders, pushing back when necessary

What you need:

• 5-7 years Paid Media experience, which must include a strategic role.
• Experience creating, developing, and executing campaigns
• Excellent knowledge of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Affiliate Marketing, Display, Email, Content and Social)
• Expert knowledge of analysis tools – TGI, Facebook IQ, and Google Trends
• Experience working in an agency
• Understand youth audiences and which strategies to focus on
• Be able to work to tight deadlines
