Marketing Manager (Interim)

Surrey Contract / 6 months £200.00 - £270.00 per day

What will be your key deliverables?

  • Marketing platform is split into an actionable, prioritised plan. Including but not limited to online, PR, in-store, events and CRM.
  • Defining and delivering the marketing assets needed to get off to a fast start on implementing the plan.
  • Co-ordination with 3rd parties to successfully execute new partnership propositions eg Construction, Utilities.
  • Connecting and influencing the multiple category stakeholders and decision makers to implement what is a true cross-category vision for UK.

What do we need for this role?

The role involves working on multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to manage these whilst remaining flexible, adaptable and positive is crucial.

  • Self-starter: uses initiative to deliver what’s needed whilst also being capable of bringing the team along too. Must be able to deliver through a team and not operate solo.
  • Builds a network, collaborates, knows how to deliver a vision, a plan and then make it happen.
  • Strong communication skills: interpersonal, written and presentation.
  • Understands brands and business. Capacity to translate plans into commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent project and time management: it’s essential to ensure toolkits and key visuals are delivered on time, as well as meeting media deployment deadlines.
  • Able to get things done quickly and with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple demands, flex and adapt when needed.
  • A positive attitude is essential in this role: remaining focused and upbeat in the face of an ever-changing
  • internal and external (competitive) landscape is needed.
  • A desire to #DoWhatYouCant and create the very best marketing initiatives.
  • Curiosity, being culturally tuned-in and across what’s new in tech / comms / music / sport / etc

What does success look like?

  • Proven brand management experience, preferably in a large and dynamic organisation.
  • Commercial acumen and working within dynamic channel environments.
  • Ability to lead an insight and data-led 18-month brand and channel plan with measureable ROI/metrics.
  • Delivered excellent marketing results previously.
  • Experience of briefing, developing creative work and owned, earned, shared and paid connections plans.
  • Can deliver through others: experience of leading a team who aren’t direct reports to deliver a successful outcome.
