Paid Media Manager (Contract)

Greater London Contract / 3 Months £250 - £300.00 per day

My client is looking for a Paid Media Manager Contractor , responsible for the management of paid media campaigns that generate leads and/or raise brand awareness. You will own the relationship with the media and search agencies (paid and organic), manage the media strategy and creative development through to production, optimisation and reporting.

Responsibilities also include the tracking, optimization and ongoing analysis of all paid advertising campaigns including display (banners, rich media, mobile and video), pay per click (PPC), email and offline (print and OOH).

The role requires strong relationship and leaderships skills, attention to detail, budget management experience, strong creative and strategic sensibility, along with an interest in innovation and continuous testing.

Role Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning

  • Contribute to the development of the media strategy, ensuring that media plans are aligned to wider departmental strategy and overall School goals
  • Manage internal media processes across the department to ensure effective implementation of media strategy.
  • Develop and manage advertising schedule, trafficking and overall production efforts
  • Maintain all tagging and tracking for campaign performance, analysis and optimization
  • Contribute to the development of Key Performance Indicators to support the assessment of the quality and impact of brand content, campaigns and initiatives

Brand Management

  • Review content developed in-house or by agencies against internal quality assurance processes to ensure it meets brand guidelines
  • Use expert knowledge to segment audiences, enabling the targeting of campaigns/initiatives to maximum impact and return on investment

Project/Campaign Management

  • Lead on the delivery of a portfolio of projects and campaigns in own area of specialism
  • Manage in-house and agency resources to ensure successful delivery of campaigns within budget and to quality standards and targets

Analysis and Reporting

  • Manage or commission data collation and analysis, probe and use findings to develop further insights to inform decisions on future brand initiatives

Supplier/Contractor Management

  • Monitor the quality of work delivered by third-party suppliers and agencies against service level agreements to ensure it is to the required standard. Provide feedback on performance to management. Take any necessary action based on feedback and escalate issue resolution when required.

Key Skills:

  • Up-to-date knowledge of the advertising industry and technological advancements
  • Knowledge of business education and competitor organisations.
  • Knowledge of campaign tracking and ad serving tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and DoubleClick. Knowledge of ad attribution is a bonus
  • Experience of leading/playing a part in innovative projects, campaigns or initiatives
  • Experience of managing contractors and/or agencies
  • Financial management experience and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of audiences
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail oriented and can work well under pressure while managing multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment and meet deadlines
  • Self-starter and fast learner with the ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively
