Paid Search Specialist – Entertainment – London – c.£40K

The Company

My client is a well known entertainment brand, with a focus on television. They are Pan-European and if you have an interest in sport, then this is the role for you!

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Biddable Manager, the Paid Search Specialist will be responsible leading the strategy and development of the channel on a Pan-European basis, maximising customer growth at cost-effective levels. You will also work closely with other paid channels integrating where possible.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Own the strategy and performance of paid search activity – initially managing an external media agency before being responsible for bringing the activity in-house
• Lead paid search planning and media-buying across all territories
• Drive forward tech integration of the offering
• Collaborate effectively with other teams and internal stakeholders
• Lead innovation within the team and the effective use of tools
• Communicate paid search performance clearly and uncover areas for growth
• Create the blueprint for success to drive common understanding and efficiency

Key competencies and experience:

• 2+ years’ experience with a track record of delivering success in a similar role
• Deep understanding of paid search, with experience using external bid management tools (DoubleClick DS3, Marin or Kenshoo)
• Highly numerate and comfortable using excel
• Logical thinker with experience using analytics to drive decision-making and demonstrable experience driving growth through testing
• Adept at working in a fast-paced environment
• Clear communicator who is able to translate strategy into action. Must be fluent in English. Additional languages a plus.
