Part Time Performance Marketing Specialist

City of London Contract / 4 Months £250 - £350 per day

I am currently working with an independent agency who are looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to support a new client of theirs, a new sports broadcaster.

You will join my client on a 4 month contract working part-time 16 hours per week. With flexible working location.

Start date – immediately (Monday 23rd July)

Day rate – £300/350

Hours – 16hrs per week

Minimum period – 4 months

Location – London (flexible) They are based near Oxford Circus Underground

Role Responsilities:

My client is looking for an experienced marketing leader with an entrepreneurial mind to help launch an exciting new sports media brand in the UK.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring digital campaigns to drive subscriber growth and increase the revenue of the OTT business.

  • Build a performance-optimised PPC strategy
  • Lead campaign set-up, tracking implementation and optimisation plans through analysis of data
  • Manage Display and Paid Social campaigns (Retargeting, App marketing, Prospecting) / heavy weight Facebook and Google campaigns
  • Localise campaign approach based on day to day market observation and in line with other brand campaigns and promotions
  • Adopt a continual ‘test and learn’ approach to all performance marketing activities (A/B testing)
  • Internally carry out the day-to-day execution and optimisation of campaigns on all key platforms
  • Review, optimise and scale paid social campaigns with knowledge of the competitor landscape
  • Manage marketing budget and forecast to deliver efficient return on investment
  • Introduce RLSA across networks and demographic optimisations based on key target audiences
  • Analyse and track campaign performance, refining CPA and ROI on all campaigns
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing Director on all campaign implementation including creative, ad copy and analysis
  • Report efficiently on campaign performance, ROI, purchasing patterns for website and app traffic

Required Skills and Experience

  • Preferably 5+ years experience in paid marketing across a portfolio of customer-facing products
  • Up-to-date with the latest PPC solutions (including Adwords), paid social platforms and analytics tools and be able to drive an innovative, forward-thinking approach
  • Commercially-minded with the ability to work towards metrics, and both identify and manage budgets
  • Comfortable setting reasonable budgets, and monitoring / optimising CPA and ongoing scale
  • Results-oriented, able to work independently and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of SEO and ad copy optimisation
  • Extensive Media experience
  • Team player, creative mindset and sports enthusiast
