The Role

This role plays a critical part in delivering a data driven search strategy. The Search Specialist is part of the Foods and Refreshments digital team and works cross-functionally with different departments, while also closely operating with the agencies and media planners. You are the internal expert when it comes to planning for search and optimizing for organic and paid performance.
Key responsibilities:

  • Main interface for functions, agencies & partners when it comes to search related activities
  • Create category & band-level search strategic approach and ensure adoption by brand teams & agency partners
  • On-going tech auditing for category websites & implementation of best practice technical optimisation
  • Define content requirements as a mix of strategy, main content themes selection and trends
  • On-going analytics of organic & paid search results, across all brands driving actionable optimisation recommendations against achieving success KPIs
  • Accountable for consistent improvement of organic and paid search performance
  • Ensure category level alignment on content territories and avoidance of overlap and double-spending
  • Engaging with internal and external partners to consistently drive link-building initiatives and increase domain & page relevance
  • Integrate search initiatives as part of holistic search approach (search engines, Youtube, eCommerce, social search) together with category digital leads

Key competencies and experience:

  • You are capable of communicating with impact & across different levels across the organization and be able to influence the organization as a performance marketing ambassador
  • You should be able to act as an entrepreneur and you are capable of making the difference in Search Marketing
  • Comfortable with analytics & dashboard platforms, namely GA, Adobe Analytics, Brightedge, MOZ, SEMRush
  • Understanding of how search driven channels work
  • 3+ years of practical search experience with a proven ability to grow organic and paid search results
  • Capable to manage large number of stakeholders at all levels within and outside the company
  • Proven experience in campaign setup & management
  • Proven experience in technical SEO
