My client, a leading Business/Finance publishing business is seeking a talented wordsmith to join their marketing team. This is a brand new role, and as such, they are looking for someone who can confidently create great copy for a range of marketing campaigns that will drive brand awareness, reposition the business, and push audience engagement amongst CFOs and other senior figures within Finance across the world.

This is a unique opportunity as not only will you create compelling copy for multiple channels (website, white papers, social media, print advertising, email marketing etc) your work will be highly visible – if you’re looking for a role where your ideas will lead to tangible results, then this could be for you.

The Role:

Reporting into the Head of Content, you will be responsible for driving ideas for content and then turning those ideas into concise, compelling copy that will drive engagement with their target audience. A big focus on this role will be using content to push brand awareness UK wide, as well as repositioning the brand from a predominantly events-based business to an editorial thought leader.

Specifically:

• Copywriting across a multitude of channels – be that email marketing campaigns, social media, blog posts, web banners, white papers, etc.
• Curating and proof reading all copy before it “goes live”
• Optimising copy for SEO
• Act as guardian for the brands tone of voice as well as developing and redefining this further

Who You Are:

To be considered for this role, you will be a talented copywriter with demonstrable experience creating and curating copy for a B2B finance or business focussed brand. Your proofreading and editing skills will be top notch and you will be confident conceptualising ideas for great content.

In addition, you will also possess:

• An exceptional grasp of grammar and the English language (you will ideally be fluent at native-level in English – written and verbal)
• The nouse to think outside the box and spot commercial opportunities for content
• Crystal clear communication skills
• A strong ability to work well under pressure.
