My client, a revolutionary online marketplace for freelancers, is looking for a Community Developer to support with the growth and retention of subscribers. You will be joining a fast paced, high growth environment that values diversity, wellbeing, progression, and hard work.

You will come from a high growth scale-up or fast moving recruitment business and have the expertise to talk confidently to techies and creatives.

The role:

· Grow, and retain community through online and offline engagement such as paid media, events, and campaigns

· Identify new ways of sourcing top-tier talent and convert into subscriber

· Continuously contribute to development of platform by identifying areas of improvement

· Fully understand wants and needs of community to ensure best possible experience

The Person:

· Proven ability to source, identify, and onboard new subscribers – preferably from a tech environment

· Ability to be creative with sourcing by using non-traditional routes to find talent

· You have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of talent needed for clients

· Well versed in managing online platforms such as Telegram, Twitter and Medium

· Passion to build communities online and offline, creating in-life industry events to engage and retain subscribers

· Great at relationship building, being empathetic so as to fully understand the needs of your subscribers

· Resilient – you aren’t scared by failure, in fact you see it as an opportunity to learn and inform future decisions
