We’re looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of building large, vibrant communities online first hand. Ideally at a global scale and across multiple social media channels.

Either you’ve built one for a brand, promoting yourself, around a topic of interest, or all of the above.

If you’ve done this in the men’s wellness space before, then this is a plus.

What’s the role?

  • Generating new ideas for social content to to engage, provoke and bring the brand message to life.
  • Building our online community by running with, and building on our persona, and connecting with potential customers through Instagram and beyond.
  • Comprehensively cover all aspects of our brand and messaging to ensure that our content is informative and helpful in parts, while remaining playful and provocative in others.
  • Writing engaging copy, taking photos and videos or arranging shoots for use on relevant social media platforms.
  • Planning social content and maintaining the content calendar, ensuring social media content is regular, relevant and engaging.
  • Engaging with fans and followers to build relationships with the community and encourage engagement.
  • Weekly reporting on social media engagements within the community.
  • Monitoring the success of the community and of social media in terms of the overall marketing strategy.
  • Finding, engaging with, and bringing on board influencers who will give our brand authority and ascendancy.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to relay customer feedback insights gained from online conversations within the community.

What’s your ideal background?

  • A demonstrable track record of building large, vibrant communities online first hand. Ideally at a global scale and across multiple social media channels.
  • Either you’ve built a community for a brand, yourself, around a topic of interest, or all of the above.
  • If you’ve done this in the men’s wellness space before, then this is a plus.
  • The ideal community lead will be passionate and articulate with the ability to analyse and iterate our strategy.
  • Must have a cutting edge interest in social media and be abreast with the fast changing nature of social media and ensuring that new opportunities for engaging with customers are realised.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills are essential.
