Content Lead

My client, a leading industry institute within the property sector, is on the hunt for an experienced Content Designer who can help develop and provide strategic guidance for a content-led acquisition project.

This will be a 3-month initial project with a go-live built in to that timeframe.

The role will be part Content Designer, Copywriter and Content Strategist, and they really need someone who has experienced managing and getting the best out of their digital agency partner, who is due to start work on a project for them soon. So stakeholder engagement is highly important as well.

You won’t need to be a property expert, but you will need to be develop content ideas in-line with their brand and style guidelines to drive this acquisition project.

Knowing SEO will be crucial too to help the content gain the best possible traction for this project.

Key skill areas

• Experience working in content marketing. Experience using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Keyword Planner, Search Console and Screamingfrog will be a distinct advantage.
• A strong communicator and collaborator – the success of the role depends on the effective communication between multiple teams across the company.
• Organisational skills – managing a large-scale content production projects need strong organisational skills. Previous experience as a project manager is not necessary but a nice to have.
• Research and data analysis – able to select relevant data sources, prioritise the data and funnel it into a content strategy.
• Editing and writing: it is essential that you have strong standards of writing and editing, being able to review multiple articles and spot discrepancies in quality which can compromise the integrity of the brand.
