The Opportunity

One of the UK’s leading creative agencies is seeking a talented Content Manager to work onsite at one their clients. This is a brand-new position, working on a brand new account and as such, will provide the lucky candidate the opportunity to deliver an compelling digital content strategy for a high profile animal care brand.

The Role
Reporting into the Head of Content, the Content Manager will be responsible for:

• Develop and take ownership of the content calendar and ensure that the publishing schedule is in line with other marketing initiatives.
• Creating content that will drive engagement – from short, snappy copy, blog posts, videos and images.
• Content publishing and manging content on the company website. Making sure that all content is fresh and updated, providing the latest news for end customers.
• Optimise content and ensure it ranks highly for SEO, driving visitors from search engines to the website by ensuring content is visible.
• Analyse content performance and use insight to understand audience segments, ensuring success in future content marketing campaigns.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a creative content manager with experience working in a digital agency. They will be data driven in their approach and won’t shy away from using analytics to help define content strategy and content marketing initiatives.

Specifically, they will have:

• Proven experience delivering content and content marketing campaigns for a range of b2c commercial clients.
• Strong client facing skills and exceptional communication – this person must have gravitas and confidence dealing with a range of senior stakeholders (both internal and external)
• Strong attention to detail
• A confident user of industry standard CMS platforms.
• A love for all creatures great and small! This role is working on site at an animal focused business, so you must be comfortable with dogs being in the office!
