Content Editor – Online Retail

Surrey Contract / 6 Months £200.00 - £300.00 per day

My client, a leading agency, is on the hunt for a Content Manager with experience with CMS’ and are comfortable auditing and cleansing of old content, provide fix lists, project managing the development and delivery of assets to retailers, optimise product names and descriptions etc.

You will be responsible for the setting up the way content delivery studio works: processes and workflows.

You will be responsible for day to day monitoring and delivery of assets to deliver best in class ‘online retail merchandising’ across online store and online retail channels, including Amazon and Argos among others.

You’ll be responsible for setting up the concept, strategy and plan for implementation to make sure customers have a consistent shopping experience with the right information to convert in whatever channel they are in. Plus managing resource in a timely manner as a process lead, alongside setting up a studio as well as processes in the studio.

What the day to day looks like…

  • Acquire and manage asset requirements and specifications per channel
  • Keep up-to-date target channel lists for content supply
  • Maintain asset plan / calendar
  • Monitor competitor activities and pricing in the channels
  • Monitor BrandView scorecard to improve content compliance score by briefing relevant team
  • Monitor in-life products and make sure content quality are up to date with no broken UX, UI elements.
  • Remove out-of-date content liaising with KAM (Key Account Manager)
  • Manage content localisation to match local features and benefits (product specs)
  • Acquire and manage asset requirements as per briefs
  • Providing project plans
  • Provide best in class operations processes
  • Collaborate/coordinate with global team
  • Issues management (JIRA).

  • Experience working on third-party eCommerce platforms like Amazon and Argos (highly beneficial)
  • Should be able to take on routine daily processes
  • Project management skill with passion for good design outputs
  • Time management, resource management, calendar management
  • Attention to detail with passion for best in class
  • Understands the dynamics in online retail channels and shopping content and experience
  • To have knowledge of conversion tactics in eCommerce channels
  • To have strong organisational skills.
