The Opportunity:
My client, a ForEx, is seeking a talented Content Manager with Mandarin language skills to join their marketing communications team. This is a brand new role, and as such, they are looking for someone who can confidently manage, manipulate and maintain great content for a range of marketing campaigns that will drive brand awareness internationally, and push new customer acquisition/loyalty.

The Role:
Reporting into the Head of Content, you will be responsible for driving ideas for content and then turning those ideas into great online content that will drive engagement with their target audience. A big focus on this role will be using content to push brand awareness at international level.

Specifically:
This is an autonomous role within the business and will be responsible for:

  • Managing content across multiple public facing websites and numerous digital touchpoints
  • Work with the Copywriters and UX Designers to deliver content and campaigns in line with the marketing calendar.
  • Ensure that content displays correctly and delivers an engaging experience – understanding and fixing bugs onsite.
  • Set up analytics onsite to understand customer behaviour and content performance – recommending changes to ensure success.
  • Work with external agency partners on large scale web development projects

The Candidate
This role would suit a keen Content Manager looking for a new challenge with scope and autonomy from day one.

You must be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience producing, managing and maintaining website content for public facing websites.
  • The ability to build new pages, landing pages and new functionalities within industry standard CMS.
  • A good eye for UX and wireframing and an appreciation for copy.
  • Experience using Sitecore CMS.
  • Where you have set up google analytics and tracking customer behaviour and success of campaigns onsite.
  • Experience editing code, or coding from scratch in HTML / CSS / JavaScript – being able to identify bugs and getting the most out of agency development partners.
  • Where you have been proactive, highly organised, and responded quickly to changing deadlines.
