CONTENT PUBLISHER & EDITOR

6 MONTH CONTRACT

My client, a leading group of companies, is looking for a Content Publisher and Editor to create compelling content (written and visual) for their financial side of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying Content

The creator will need to identify what type of content will be of interest and engage the target audience in a way that will help build awareness of the brand and encourage potential clients to interact with the company.

The company is currently in the process of refining the brand values and articulating their proposition and key messages. These will provide a starting point from which to create a content strategy.

The creator will also need to liaise closely with the company’s PR Consultant to understand her plans and content requirements.

Sourcing Content

The creator will need to find ways to source the content. This will probably include building relationships with experts, such as journalists, in the sector, and collaborating with people inside the financial side of the group of companies.

Editing Content

The creator will need to be good at turning content into engaging and informative copy, be an exceptional GIF maker and have experience of commissioning or creating video footage. This must all be done within the company’s Brand Guidelines.

Publishing Content

The creator will be responsible for deciding on the best environment for content. To start with, these channels will be the website, Linked In and Twitter. In due course channels will include email.

Skill Requirements:

• Excellent administration and organisational skills
• Copywriting
• GIF making or advanced Adobe Photoshop experience
• Commissioning video
• Using Google analytics to track and assess campaigns
• Knowledge and experience of using CMS to edit websites
• Knowledge and experience of driving engagement on LinkedIn, Twitter and other social media sites
• Experience of using solutions to schedule posts, track performance of content and managing social media account.
