This multi-channel content role will need you to create content across the website, mobile app, and social media channels which means you’ll be involved with both editorial and audio-visual content. As it’s not a huge team, there will be several agencies to manage.

This business has multiple departments, with so many exciting things happening. You’ll need to be a great relationship builder, and make sure you’re proactively communicating with all departments to identify content opportunities.

What will you do:

  • Take ownership of the Digital Content strategy with a focus on spotting opportunity for Audio/Visual content and social assets across web and mobile platforms
  • Spot opportunities to enhance and improve the current content mix through digital storytelling
  • Drive forward new content initiatives for their globally renowned eSports app
  • Commission content to agency partners and freelance writers, managing timely delivery.
  • Working with Commercial Partners and Sponsors to capitalise on opportunities for storytelling content
  • Ensure the work of the non-profit arm of the company is communicated to global audiences to drive engagement with existing and new demographics

What you need:

  • Proven experience owning and delivering a content strategy with the aim of driving engagement around sporting events
  • Experience in sports would be highly desired, but above you must be able to point to visible work where you have delivered impactful, global content across multiple platforms
  • The ability to spot opportunities for content to drive digital storytelling
  • A proactive and autonomous approach to work – you must be able to demonstrate where you have taken the initiative
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in character
  • The ability to motivate and getting the most out of agency partners
