Digital Content Manager (AEM)

Greater London Contract / 6 Months £200.00 - £325.00 per day

My client, a leading Global retail giant, is on the hunt for an experience Digital Content Manager who’s well-versed with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and is available for a 6-month initial contract.

Key Purpose

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the continued success of delivering extraordinary customer experience, specifically for my client’s online customers around the world.

This role supports the Editorial and Online Production teams with the day-to-day building, monitoring and managing of website content within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), our content management tool.

Know the Role

With a proven background in eCommerce, you’ll be ready to bring your knowledge to an exciting new challenge. Take ownership of setting up a new team to build our Content Management function within our Creative Department. You will have strong knowledge of Content Management systems, including AEM, and have excellent problem-solving skills. You will be a great team player, knowing how to support and guide others in order get the best out of people, using your sound leadership abilities. Clear communication is a key part of the role and you will utilise this to build strong relationships across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Being the main point of contact across multiple departments within the business for all aspects of managing site content within AEM.
  • Ownership of building the weekly homepages and features in AEM, including international variations
  • Monitor live site content, ensuring featured products are in stock and correctly sequenced within the product pages.
  • Liaise with the Online Trading Team to ensure all expected content is available within the allocated timescales. E.g. Missing links and featured products
  • Supporting the Editorial team with ad hoc content changes in AEM e.g. site information, restaurant and store pages
  • Being a key part of the sign off process for site content before it goes live and action any amendments as required from the wider business

Know what they’re looking for

Required

  • At least 3 years of B2C online retail operations experience
  • An understanding of the website content delivery lifecycle into production
  • At least 1 year’s hands-on experience resulting in a proven in-depth knowledge of the AEM tool
  • An understanding of technical code and/or a background in Front End Web Development
