Digital Copywriter

My client, a leading FinTech start-up, is looking for a digital copywriter on a 3-month contract to work in their agile London hub.

The Job…

My client is looking for a talented creative, digital copywriter to join a well-funded, Fintech start-up with a mission to support small business and sole traders to run and grow thriving enterprises.

They’re looking for an adaptable, creative and detail focused writer who can turn their hand to product copy (app / web / email) advertising, promotions, print and more.

Working with their in-house product and marketing design talent, your role is to develop engaging content and campaigns that resonate with our small business audiences, delivering consistent TOV and high performance engagement.

Experience working in regulated industries is a plus.

Experience…

• Proven track record of producing high quality and impactful online content, copy and campaigns
• Ability to brief, edit, and manage other writers or agency partners confidently with a strong sense of accountability
• Highly experienced in digital media and creative formats
• Understanding of SEO, UX, design, and development, and how they impact copywriting
• Sound commercial judgement

Day to Day…

• Working within the brand TOV and design guidelines to ensure consistency of brand experience and enhancing these guidelines over time
• Works collaboratively with the growth team to develop a diverse range of content and campaigns, including performance media, social content, emails, promotional copy and print
• Works with the product design /UX team to develop clear, intuitive and engaging user experiences across app and web-based products
• Collaborates within internal ops teams – legal, customer support – to consistently ‘humanise’ and make simple and clear, our related customer facings terms, policies and FAQs
• A strong conceptualiser, used to working with designers and videographers, consistently developing ideas to create stand out campaigns and content that help us build awareness of the Asto brand and our mission
