Digital Manager – Online Retail

Surrey Contract / 6 Months £250.00 - £350.00 per day

My client, a global consumer tech brand, require a Digital Manager to lead the online experience for their Online Retail division. You will be responsible for aligning with the business priorities, ensuring the online team deliver on the required KPI’s. You will also be responsible for the business part of the company’s digital platforms. The role will be responsible for:

  • Lead the development and execution of the online retail strategy (.COM, UX, CRM, search, social, display, and ecom)
  • Work with each online channel specialist and own the Online Retail experience
  • Manage our dotcom agency for Online Retail
  • Running the online campaign planning function for Online Retail. Ensuring we are delivering on target
  • Working closely with other division (Mobile, Home, eCom) to align strategies.

Key Objectives

  • Manage online campaign planning for Online Retail – delivering all the key online projects & campaigns to time and budget
  • Acts as the key liaison between online team functions (commercial, marketing, experience and finance), receiving and translating required briefs from Online team. Ensure the online team respond to the directorate priorities with proposals and activities that deliver against KPIs
  • Design integrated communication plans for key campaigns, define goals, identify solutions and engage stakeholders and agency teams towards a final vision
  • Build and develop relationships with counterparts in other divisions to introduce new planning processes to ensure clear workload prioritisation is put in place, clear briefs are developed and implemented
  • Deliver regular analysis and reviews on campaign to ensure key learning’s are carried forward to future activity
  • Improve business part of .com with better customer journey, content, technology (Eloqua)…
  • Provide competitor context market trends; feeding insights into online team
  • Leads continual improvement in team performance of self and others, cultivating a collaborative and motivated team environment
