The Opportunity
I am representing a unique opportunity for a seasoned Head of Content to join an established retail business undergoing a large scale digital transformation. As the business look to centralise their digital services across their impressive brand portfolio, this is a crucial hire.

Steering the Content strategy for several well-known home improvement brands, the Head of Content will decide how each business will use content to engage with customers and build brand equity.

The Role
The Head of Content will be responsible for:

• Leading the European content strategy for the brand, taking a holistic approach and understanding the role and value content can play across digital channels.
• Driving brand equity through compelling content ideas that will drive awareness and engagement with customers, positioning each brand as a destination of choice.
• Delivering structure and best practise company wide.
• Building a successful, modern content and social media team.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate is a senior content lead with proven experience delivering holistic Digital Content campaigns that have delivered positive brand equity preferably for a retail business. You will have experience hiring in and developing a talented content and social team to deliver your ideas, and you will work closely with Senior stakeholders internally, and externally, to push through the Editorial agenda and set up structure.

This is an environment that changes quickly and this role will be responsible bringing structure and creating processes where they don’t exist – the right person will view this as an opportunity! This will not be the right place for someone if they structure/processes in place to be successful.
