Events Executive

Oxfordshire Contract / 2 Months £125 - £175 per day

I’m currently working with a global company on the hunt for an Event Executive to own all aspects of corporate, internal and trade events from research, planning and agreeing objectives through to execution, including admin, logistics, ensuring collateral requirements are met, briefing/training staff, event attendance and working with contractors/design agencies to ensure stands are designed and built on brand

* Attend events as necessary, overseeing all event operations, dealing with delegates and ensuring the smooth running of events

* Working closely with the other Events Executives take ownership of the internal events calendar, maintaining communication with all stakeholders to ensure it is constantly updated, and keeping projects on track, to deadlines, ensuring efficient and effective processes and communication throughout

* Responsible for delivering against event objectives and budget, evaluating and reporting on the success of all events to demonstrate ROI

* Develop and research concepts for new events as requested, including venue assessment and selection

* Support the delivery of planned pre- and post- event, integrated marketing campaigns, to achieve an increase in customer awareness, engagement and achieve event objectives e.g. domain name registrations / high quality leads supporting product and service sales

* Working with the creative team and marketing executives, ensure marketing materials are briefed, created and produced on time and displaying attention to cost control to ensure events are delivered within budget

* Liaise with relevant business units for content creation and delivery including social media, e-mail campaigns and blogs

* Proactively support the development of marketing messages and themes for promotional activity when required

* Design and manage the creation and production of associated assets and collateral to support all campaign activity

* Analyse feedback/evaluation from each activity for ongoing review

* Provide support for all corporate communication initiatives as required

* Manage a range of suppliers including stand build, kit management, merchandise suppliers

* Keep up to date with event industry trends and benchmark events against the competition as necessary

* Document time spent on various events to allow for improved resource planning
