Head of Content – £51K plus exceptional benefits.
London

I am representing a world-renowned design institution who are responsible for building strong partnerships with architects and design enthusiasts, as well as showcasing UK architectural talent on an international scale.

They are now looking for a Head of Content to join their team to improve the brands content offering on their public facing website, to spot content opportunities with commercial partners and deliver consistent and engaging messaging focussed on driving brand awareness and increasing membership numbers.

This role would suit a seasoned Content Editor, hungry for a new challenge and looking to step up into their first ‘head of’ role. This role will have visibility from day one and is a real opportunity for someone to shape a newly formed Content team and help grow an established brand in international markets.

Role responsibilities:

  • Lead a rich content strategy for the brand for both B2C and B2B audiences that will meet user needs.
  • Build a network of agency contacts and freelancers to commission content out and managing a small budget to do so.
  • Manage and motivate a small team to work to tight deadlines – this team currently publish over 500 pieces of content per month.
  • Set up processes for best practise and delivery of content for the business.
  • Represent content internally and build relationships with other teams to ensure consistency of messaging across all channels.
  • Understand how to optimise content for SEO to support search marketing.

I would be interested to speak to candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Experience planning and delivering content strategies in both a B2B and B2C environment.
  • Gravitas – you must have the confidence and influencing skills to manage internal stakeholders and see content initiatives delivered end to end.
  • Exposure to managing and motivating a small team.
  • Experience defining and setting up best practise and process around content publishing.
  • A personal interest in design.

If this sounds of interest to you and you believe you meet the criteria above, please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss.
