A global media agency situated in the heart of London, requires a Head of Social to lead on all client accounts. You will be setting the strategy and overseeing the creation of compelling and engaging content, growing and developing a best in class team, and working with some of the biggest names in the consumer, tech, and educational industries.
The Role:
· Lead, manage and build a team of full time and freelance SMM’s
· Set social strategy for client briefs and oversee planning and execution of all content for organic and paid posts
· Manage and grow client social media accounts ensuring a solid ROI
· Feedback and advise on campaign performance
· Oversee budgets, and set KPI’s for each client
· Be seen as an authority on social and the current digital media landscape
· Able to provide insight, suggestions and recommendations of new platforms, best practices and new products
· Provide weekly reports on state of accounts and campaigns
· Crisis resolution
· Lead on winning new business
· Train junior members and guide them for these
The Person:
· Team management and experience of growing a team
· Solid background in Social Media management from an agency background
· Preferably experience in B2B and B2C social media management
· Considerable advertising budget management
· Extremely strategic and analytical
· Excellent presentation skills with ability to influence
· Deep understanding of past and current digital and cultural trends
· Crisis management experience
· Digital fluency with a keen interest in the tech landscape and innovations
