Senior Content Writer

It seems as though remote working is becoming the normality and I’m now working with another great company who are fully virtual with employees based all across the UK. This company uses Slack to chat, Microsoft teams for meetings and Dropbox as their office storage, it works so well that after 3 years of being established they are continuing to grow.

This digital agency is seeking a Senior Content Writer with 6+ years’ experience to come in and support the business across various different services that they offer for their clients. The agencies main clientele is supporting small businesses and well-known influencers to help make their content stand out!

The Senior Content Writer position is a new role, and will play a critical part in the ongoing future success. I’m looking for someone who has great management skills and wants to develop a long-term career.

THE ROLE

• Writing long and short copy for clients, including our blog posts, social media copy, emails, website copy
• Managing 2 copywriters – providing coaching and guidance, setting and monitoring priorities, sub-editing and proofreading their work
• Write short copy for various different social media channels
• Liaise and collaborate with our creative and content management teams. Strong communications skills are essential
• Own and continuously improve our end-to-end writing processes
• Managing several clients and delivering to short services of work

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 6 year’s proven work experience as a copywriter or content writer for an agency
• Proven experience in writing for social media
• Outstanding time management skills; able to work to tight deadlines
• Experience or strong desire to work independently in a remote environment
• Previous management experience with the ability to work and oversea others.
