My client, a global leader in consumer electronics, is on the hunt for a Content Site Manager to take ownership of part of their website and manage the delivery of assets with the relevant internal and external stakeholders.
The site is large and serves many purposes for consumers and businesses looking to research, buy and get support for my client’s products.
This company is transforming into an ecommerce business and, as such, this role involves mapping and owning the customer journey across the site to ensure it’s simple for user to research and buy products from them directly.
With this comes the responsibility for managing online content changes, campaigns, new functionality / tools as well as continuous site optimisation. This role is part of a team of site managers, all of whom will have access to UX designers, UI designers, copywriters and developers.
You will be responsible for day to day monitoring and delivery of assets to deliver best in class ‘online retail merchandising’ across online store and online retail channels.
You’ll be responsible for setting up the concept, strategy and plan for implementation to make sure customers have a consistent shopping experience with the right information to convert in whatever channel they are in. Plus managing resource in a timely manner as a process lead.
This role will be split between the client’s office in Surrey and London where their agency is based. This will be a 12-month contract and the client is looking for candidates who will be committed and there will be opportunity for extension as well.
In short…
You will have a number of areas of responsibility including in-life activities for their Mobile devices across B2C as well as all content on the B2B site. Product owner for multiple platforms and project management for all multiple projects. You are used to working with and around UX teams. Can draw out user journeys and understands UX. Thinks mobile first. Uses data to make decisions. Adopts test and learn principles. Can think strategically. Used to working with eCommerce.
