Social Media Executive – Inside IR35

Salt is looking for a Social Media Executive who will oversee a 6-month project to operationalize the design and implementation of integrated social media content plan, as well as provide additional content development support for executive communications.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the coordination of various work streams and the creation of a collaborative framework that supports the social media presence, working with the Sr. Manager, Corporate Communications and the Head of Social
• The candidate is required to drive the development of social media content for the executive’s LinkedIn and Twitter platforms (where applicable) to support the communications objectives and help position them as thought leaders in their respective fields, by developing an engaging tone of voice for each, in keeping with their personalities and interests.
• As the Social Media Executive you are required to coordinate input from the executives and maintain a social media content calendar, in collaboration with the social and executive communications leads.
• You are responsible for the approval and deployment of the content on the executive’s platforms and will be working closely with the Centralised Community Management team (CCM) and Legal to ensure implementation and appropriate monitoring
• Assist in the management of external vendors (such as digital agencies and writers) and coordinate external and internal resources in terms of strategic insights, content development, and reporting to improve social engagement and performance
• Maintain the executive’s social media profiles with up-to-date information and creative assets in partnership with the Head of Social.
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure delivery against objectives and alignment with overall corporate and executive communications priorities (e.g., web and social content leads, legal, executive assistants, etc.)

Requirements:

• University degree in related field
• Demonstrable agency or in-house experience working in communications (3 to 5 years), with a focus on developing executive communications for senior leaders on digital platforms (particularly LinkedIn and its platform capabilities)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of third-party publishing tools, such as Sprinklr
