If you’ve worked agency side & are frustrated by the line between you and your client or client side & fatigued by working on one brand, then this is the role for you. This company aim to create the perfect hybrid to between client side & agency; mixing channel specialism with sector knowledge. You will get the opportunity to own the strategy for your channel and use your insights to help transform business strategy and product design.

The Role of Social Media Manager

The social media manager will be intrinsically linked with the creative & brand marketing teams. As the channel that sits closest with the customer you will be the champion for the customer voice & promoting the brand identity. You will be required to do the following:

  • Devise & execute a strategy to grow overall audience & engagement on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube as well as Twitter, Pinterest and any other channels that may emerge for the brands in the group
  • Identify key differentiations with international markets for the larger brands & tailoring strategy accordingly
  • Work closely with all our teams from design, marketing, buying & creative to create & curate content to inspire interaction with our followers (note we have a studio, stylist & photographer at your disposal)
  • Establishing reporting to measure the engagement & revenue driven from social to feed back to the brands
  • Feedback to the brands on social media trends, best practice & what key competitors are doing
  • Continually testing messaging, creative & targeting
  • Communicate with our customers via social media channels with the help of our customer support team
  • Ensure a fully integrated digital strategy through working with our other channel leads
  • Assist in the development of the agency product offering & leading on all thing’s social media

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Understanding of the role social plays in the bigger picture alongside business objectives, KPI’s and other marketing channels
  • A creative eye for both copy, video and design
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects in an organised but flexible manner & prioritising when necessary
  • Proven record of growing followers & revenue through both organic & paid social content; ideally for 2-4 years
  • Experience working on retail (fashion brands preferable)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience

Key Relationships

  • Reports to Group Marketing Strategist
  • Liaises with brand marketing teams, creative & merchandising teams
  • Works with in-house agency team (Analytics, SEO, PPC & Affiliates)
