Social Media Manager

This new role is a huge opportunity for a driven and innovative individual with knowledge of social media platforms and toolsets to drive traffic to the company’s digital assets. This manager will join the marketing channels team and oversee global social media activity. The hired applicant will enjoy the freedoms associated with being the full and sole owner of social media for the business.

The marketing channels team is a high-performance department focused on driving results through innovation led by energized and passionate professionals.

You will be reporting into the director of marketing channels, working cross departmentally with key marketing leaders to drive relevant traffic to high conversion web pages. You will be tasked with growing global followers across accounts and increasing monthly traffic by using a variety of tactics. There is massive potential to influence the business beyond social, through integration of social media with other channels such as employee advocacy, events, email and the web team.

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive traffic to the main website, blogs, lead-capture pages, and microsites
• Increase followers across the range of platforms
• Engage in social listening, respond and engage with the community with brand voice
• Compile dossiers of complimentary publishers and social influencers
• Define and write supporting global documentation about brand presence on social
• Monitor and control Emarsys social account structure
• Lead on the social media strategy
• Forge a close working relationship with other marketers within the team with the aim of social media integration.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in marketing or similar
• 2-5 years experience in a social media marketing role, ideally in B2B
• Strong understanding of the integrated nature of digital marketing channels
• Experience using social media management toolsets is a plus
• Outstanding communicator, both verbally and written
• Comfortable and polite in conversation with strangers in a digital setting
• Relishes the opportunity to ‘own’ social media for the organization
• Passionate, collaborative and willing to challenge the status quo.
