Social Media Manager

My client is a non for profit, official promotional events agency in London. Attracting businesses, events, congresses, students and visitors.

They are looking for a Social Media Manager for 1 month as holiday cover to their existing manager.

Purpose of role:

As Social Media Lead, you will drive social media strategy, planning, delivery and reporting. You ensure social media reaches and influences multiple target audiences to choose London across consumer and business channels. You work closely with in-house content and design teams to ensure we have the best assets.

You ensure social media delivers the maximum value. You contribute to, and then deliver, paid media plans developed by Campaign and Marketing Strategy teams.

Role Responsibilities:

• Social media planning, delivery and reporting four of my clients owned channels

• Idea generation and delivery of social campaigns, including commercially-driven promotions, across all audiences

• Providing guidance and reporting for press and corporate social media channels

• Contributing to, and quality-assuring, social media components of integrated marketing campaigns and tests led by other teams (including paid media plans)

• Working with wider team; content scoping, target setting and the selection of the right social media tools for analytics, listening and publishing

• Ensuring the social media team monitors relevant trending conversations. Driving reactive posts and community engagement to reach target audiences with timely messaging and inspiration

• Delivering high-quality training and guidance to internal teams

• Ensuring guidelines are developed and followed at all times to protect reputation (including ‘go live’, crisis comms, influencer takeovers, etc.)
