Social Media Manager – Global Beauty Retailer – South London – £50K

The Company

This is an opportunity to join an amazing Beauty retailer globally renowned for high end cosmetics and beauty products. They are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate Social Media Manager to join their team as they look to grow out the team.

The role

This role will be leading the executing and the social media strategy across all platforms such as; Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. This role will be working closely with Brand, PR and Creative teams to plan, manage and implement social media strategy across several territories. High level targeted and strategic content will be important in putting social media as a key element in the marketing mix, and ultimately key to the success of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver social media strategy that meets the business objectives and are in line with the company tone of voice.
• Ensuring that social media is a key part if the marketing mix, by including brand and campaign planning.
• Delve into performance and competitors in order to create insight and visible ROI.
• Build strong customer relationships and brand affinity, through engaging the community and working closely with local social media teams.
• Act as an expert on all things social media, become an expert in the field by providing insights on newest technologies and trends.

The person

• This person would have tangible experience of creating and implementing social media on a large scale.
• This person would have extensive experience of creating, planning and implementing social media campaigns across different markets.
• Strong reporting and analysis skills, using tools to report on the effectiveness of campaigns and drive insight.
• Evident creativity and ability to respond quickly to the ever changing global retail market.
• Ideally educated to degree level.
• Experience of working successfully with third party agencies.
• Understanding and knowledge of the wider digital marketing and marketing channels and proven track record of 360′ planning.
• Ideally experience working in a relevant role within a beauty, fashion or retail.
