Social Media Manager – German Speaking

Salt have partnered with an award-winning agency who are on the hunt for a Social Media Manager to work on their globally renowned automotive account. This is a 6 month full time contract, starting ASAP.

You will be responsible for executing industry-leading social content and be seen as an expert, advising the client on best practices and innovative ways of engaging their audience.

The Role:

• Oversee output of all organic content and advise on how to achieve ultimate audience reach and engagement
• Use expert knowledge of how to distribute content when, how, and on which platforms
• Write short form content in brand TOV with audience in mind
• Fully accountable for reporting performance to SLT and using analysis to inform future decision making
• Identify areas of opportunity and present to wider team and client
• Community management, scheduling and posting of all content
• Strategically identify opportunities to collaborate with notable influencers and content creators that will achieve high ROI
• Create meaningful and trusting relationships with client to ensure long term commitment

The Person:

• A German native with fluency in both German and English
• Based in London, or Berlin. Must have lived in a major German city.
• Highly organized
• This is a client facing role so communication is key
• At least 3 years experience in social media management within an agency
• Creative with ability to analyse data through social listening tools such as GA, Hootsuite and/or brandwatch
• Social Media native!

Key Details:

• Location: Berlin or London (either location will have the opportunity to travel to the other regularly, e.g. Berlin to London quarterly or London to Berlin monthly)
• Salary: London (£28k – £34k) / Berlin (€40-€48k) Pro rata OR Day rate
• Duration: 6 months (potential to go perm)
• Start: ASAP
