I’m currently working with a vacation rental marketplace seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to help with social media production for the EMEA market. The role will work alongside the EMEA Social Media Manager to foster the growth of the online community by sourcing engaging content. You will assist with content resourcing and production, sourcing quality UGC and travel photography, writing engaging copy, and occasionally scheduling content for publishing. As needed, this role will support our Social Media Manager to schedule content for publishing and engage with customers on our social channels. This role is part of the Global Social Media organization, and as part of our One Team approach, will share your learnings and resources with other markets in order to improve the performance and efficiency of our social media program.

What you would work on

*Create and ideate social media content as needed to supplement assets delivered by creative team
*Source engaging travel photography, video, UGC and other assets to attract our core traveler segments
*Write engaging social media copy to deliver our proposition to our fans and prospective travelers
*Partner with internal creative and brand teams to deliver consistent tone of voice and messaging aligned to our brand positioning
*Engage in conversations with customers on our EMEA social platforms as needed
*Schedule and post social media content as needed
*Work with social media managers to optimize and scale our social content based on a test-and-learn approach

Skills

*Required: Speak English and German (preferred)
*Required: Basic Photoshop skills
*Required: Content portfolio or ability to complete a creative content exercise during hiring process
*Minimum two to three years experience in a social media program with hands on experience in analytics tools and network platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc)
*Experience working with digital content and an up-to-date understanding of social media creative strategies, tactics, advertising and analytics
*Experience writing original copy for social media channels
*Ability to quickly learn and master new tools and tasks as necessary
*Experience with Social Media Management platform like Khoros (Spredfast), Sprinklr or Hootsuite
*Agency experience a plus
*Passionate about social media
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized
