Content Operations (Amazon Vendor Central A+ experience)

Surrey Contract / 1-2 months £250 - £300 per day

My client, a leading global consumer tech giant, is on the hunt for a vibrant content editor ideally with Amazon Vendor Central A+ and brand store experience, CNET experience is bonus. You must be proactive in auditing and optimizing existing content, and propose opportunities to streamline or make more efficient the loading and maintenance of product sales content. Your project management skills will be strong, tracking bugs and chasing through cases raised, providing status updates on progress to stakeholders and thinking creatively to solve issues. You will be careful to write up or adapt process documentation, and equally careful to source appropriate and quality assets. Your content support will include sourcing, managing and loading product naming, image gallery, product features, enhanced product content, store page UX and banner assets.

Understanding of a large ecommerce or marketplace content platform would be beneficial.

We’re looking for someone positive, persistent, a problem solver and a great communicator, with strong organization skills. Someone who is passionate about the customer, and strives to deliver best in class execution.

This role is based full time in Surrey.

What the day to day looks like…

  • Acquire and manage asset requirements and specifications per channel
  • Maintain asset plan / calendar
  • Monitor competitor content approaches, with opportunities to learn.
  • Work closely with agencies providing assets and briefing in specific requirements for Amazon best in class execution.
  • Monitor in-life products and make sure content quality are up to date with no broken UX, UI elements.
  • Remove out-of-date content
  • Manage content localisation to match local features and benefits (product specs)
  • Acquire and manage asset requirements as per briefs
  • Providing project plans
  • Provide best in class operations processes
  • Issues management.
  • Change management

Key Experience

  • Have worked with third-party retailers (Argos, Amazon, John Lewis, etc.)
  • Amazon experience is preferred
  • Basic Photoshop skills is beneficial
  • Copywriting
  • Content Editing
  • UX appreciation
  • Customer centricity
  • Creative thinking
  • Be able to translate insights into effective content on various platforms
  • Content calendar management
  • Content localisation
