Website Content Manager

Website Manager – 40,000 – 50,000k

Salt has partnered with a growing technology business to help build their marketing team. This role in particular is to manage and improve the website to its maximum potential.

Through cutting-edge technology and forward-thinking this business have become one of the main broadband providers to rural and bespoke customers. This is such an exciting time to join this business with it being a brand new role and the opportunity to manage and own the whole website and transform each page.

I’m looking for a dedicated Web Manager who has at least 4 years experience working on building websites and is passionate about building a great experience for the user.

Role responsibilities

· Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading our website working alongside our developers and external suppliers

· Updating and creating new content aligned with our strategy

· Troubleshooting the website and constantly improving the User Experience (UX) of the website

· Ensuring website quality and efficiency by conducting regular tests, audits & optimisation

· Creating strategies to grow subscriber base, conversions, and web traffic metrics.

· Producing maps and visualizations of the site to help staff understand the structure and function of the website

· Ensuring full compliance on the website with all laws, regulations & standards

You must have:

· 4+ years of relevant experience within a similar role

· Excellent understanding of Content Management Systems

· Excellent knowledge and understanding of Google Analytics, with the ability to analyse and present data

· A detailed understanding of SEO

· An excellent writer and editor, with good spelling and grammar

· Logical and analytical, with an ability to spot patterns, gaps, and repetitions in web content

· Technically minded, with an understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies
