Head of Consumer Marketing

My client, an incredible digital start-up, is on the hunt for a Head of Customer Marketing to assist in the growth of the platform on an initial contract basis based in their London HQ.

Purpose of the role

You will revolutionise the client’s approach to marketing, bringing a fresh approach to their acquisition and retention strategy for consumers using the digital platform.

You will be rapidly scaling activity across digital and offline channels, managing the whole marketing mix effectively to ensure our client is the first choice for anyone looking to connect with a professional and that spend delivers a competitive and constantly improving ROI.

You own the acquisition funnel for both existing markets and new sectors so you will be adept at understanding the leavers you have and you will constantly optimise using testing and business insight to improve your metrics.

You will be leading and growing a team of talented marketers to engage and retain consumer users with their account. Tasked with moving our relationship with consumers from a onetime transaction to a lifelong relationship with multiple connections (transactions), you will deliver an exceptional account experience with curated journeys, nudges & prompts, content, promotions and partnerships through to tools, loyalty schemes and much more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquisition of users and their conversion to connect with professionals
  • Engagement and retention of consumers to drive up lifetime relationship and transactions.

Person spec

  • You are a senior marketer with 5+ years of experience, specialising in digital channels
  • You have experience of developing and rolling out of an account proposition to drive up customer engagement and loyalty
  • Demonstrable experience of driving engagement and increasing transactional value from customer base
  • An eye for identifying trends and opportunities
  • You are ambitious, practical, can-do person who grasps the opportunity and makes something out of it
  • You have a test and learn mentality
  • You embrace change, no one day is like the next and you relish the opportunity to try something new.
