A leading financial services brand are looking for a Head of Retention to grow their in-life proposition. The overall objective will be to develop and lead the retention and in-life strategy for a growing development area and also to ensure that targets are met to hit their 5 year growth plan.

The company have gone through a significant amount of change over the last 4 years and have seen their market share rocket in the last 18 months. Sitting within the commercial team of 10, you will lead 1-3 direct reports that will support you to design and deliver the change to improve the retention and in-life capability.

Head of Retention Responsibilities

• Have the overall responsibility for Retention & in-life strategy, maximising persistency and lifetime value
• Work with key stakeholders across the business to develop budgets and forecasts for in-life and renewals
• Pitch compelling business cases to enable operational change
• Deliver strategic capability improvements to all in-life and renewal KPIs (MTC, retention rate, IPP, lifetime value)
• Grow and develop direct reports to ensure effective delivery of the overall plan and continual development of colleagues
• Key KPI reporting to key stakeholders around the growth and development of in-life strategies

Head of Retention Experience

• Ideally educated to degree level in relevant subject

• Managing P& budgets
• Ideally have knowledge or experience in the FS/ insurance market
• Track record of success and delivering great results
• Data driven/ analytical approach to work
• Ability to liaise with senior stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure with many competing deadlines and priorities
