Marketing Strategy & Planning Insight Executive – Surrey – £30-35K plus Bonus

My client is one of the European market leaders in the technology software, where they offer a number of propositions around printing solutions. With their HQ based in Surrey, their team is constantly growing, helping the brand go from strength to strength.

THE ROLE

• To assist the Strategy & Planning GM in the development of the EMEA Marketing Strategy based on data & insights provided primarily from Marketing Insight team
• To help the Strategy & Planning GM & Trade Marketing Manager plan and manage centrally designed and driven channel promotions as well as demand generation schemes
• To help support Trade Marketing Manager on promo administrative work on a regular basis

ROLE SCOPE:

• Responsible for helping to develop, propose and define EMEA Marketing Strategy both short term and long term in line with corporate business strategy and objectives on an annual basis with continuous review of the outcome and refinement
• Responsible for helping to communicate EMEA Marketing Strategy to other relevant Marketing teams and regional marketing team for development and execution of marketing plans in line with EMEA Marketing Strategy in a consistent and effective way across EMEA
• Responsible for monitoring and collating data relating to the outcome of EMEA Marketing Strategy and the subsequent marketing plans on an ongoing basis
• Responsible for helping to develop EMEA central marketing execution plans and working with regional marketing teams to ensure effective and consistent execution by regional marketing team
• Responsible for assisting the Strategy & Planning GM & Trade Marketing Manager with EMEA central channel promo planning and for the demand generation scheme
• Assist with development of Marketing budget based on EMEA Marketing Strategy along with the EMEA marketing execution plans on an annual basis with ongoing monitoring
• Responsible for monitoring marketing KPIs and compiling monthly report for Strategy & Planning GM that will be used to monitor performance and guide initiatives
• Responsible for supporting Trade Marketing Manager with planning and delivering channel marketing initiatives and demand generation programmes on an EMEA basis
• Responsible for executing all relevant administrative work related to managing promos, particularly including working with agencies to manage cash back promotions on a regular basis
• Responsible for creating ad-hoc reports for Strategy & Planning GM related to strategic marketing & planning in a timely manner as required.

Please ONLY apply if you possess the following:

• Marketing strategy development and planning experience (at least 2 years) and skills, within a B2B technology or SaaS
• Experience in marketing strategy planning across multiple geographies
• Strategic and logical thinking skills
• Strong numeric skills (you must be an advanced Excel user)
• Ability to depict a high level business trends starting from highly detailed number-based reports
• Happy to correlate cause and effect of business decisions and measure progress and report on a daily basis
• Capability to extract meaningful insights from different quantitative and qualitative data sets
• Effective communication and organisational skills
• Collaborative mind-set
