The Company

My client is a global company in the Fintech space, with multiple brands. They are a market leader in a very competitive industry. They are looking for a dynamic and rounded SEO expert to come in and drive forward the SEO proposition. Key stakeholder management is a critical part of this role. This role supports the global business across multiple territories, brands and channels, managing the digital media and performance media strategies for 2 of the flagship brands. You will manage all aspects of SEO performance and operations encompassing SEO agency management, campaign planning, tracking, optimisation and reporting across all web assets globally.

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the SEO roadmap across technical SEO, onsite optimisation, content creation and link building
  • Manage, maintain and increase the online presence of the websites of the 2 flagship brands
  • Run regular audits and performance reviews
  • Define key metrics that drive SEO performance and translating these into meaningful objectives for the department
  • Monitor performance and understand which initiatives drive engagement and conversions, e.g. visibility, indexing, ranking
  • Tracking and reporting on KPIs, manage and share regular reporting
  • Collaborate with website and product development teams to implement technical and onsite SEO roadmap, ensure resource allocation to deliver KPI targets
  • Collaborate with content teams to set up a content creation and dissemination process
  • Work alongside the Digital Media Manager to align SEO efforts with PPC strategy and wider performance marketing initiatives
  • Liaise with local marketing teams to ensure SEO best practice is followed
  • Develop ways to track and monitor search performance in multiple search engines and regions

Key competencies and experience:

  • 5+ years in a direct SEO role with a focus on both content and technical SEO
  • Strong experience managing international SEO campaigns for a large brand
  • Experience using 3rd party tools such as – Google search console, Google analytics, Ahrefs, Screaming frog, DeepCrawl, SEMRush, Search Metrics etc.
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with a variety of agencies and suppliers to plan and deliver campaigns across multiple brands and markets
  • First class Analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills and ability to push the SEO agenda with the wider team and management
  • Strong experience using analytics tools such as google analytics and Google Search console
  • Experience in mobile SEO and an understanding of the impact of cross device performance
  • Passion for digital marketing and drive to stay up to date with digital trends and updates
  • Experience working in a regulated environment desirable but not essential
  • Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
