Assistant Online Trading Manager

My client is a leading luxury homeswear retailer who has an instantly recognisable product line with a high performing website. Due to recent success, they are now looking to expand their online team with an Assistant Online Trading Manager to help drive sales and optimisation. This is a great role for someone with a couple of years of Trading experience who would like exposure to stakeholder management to develop their career.

Role:

  • Managing all aspects of online merchandising across all categories and landing pages including pricing, descriptions, and promotions by device
  • Pull reports on a weekly/monthly basis to then present findings to the Online Trading manager and team
  • Daily site walks on desktop and mobile to ensure the site is as clean and error-free as possible
  • Deep dive projects on under-performing areas
  • Optimization of key categories/best sellers via product pages

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of using onsite platforms / merchandising tools (ideally Magento but not essential)
  • Have a highly analytical mindset to deal with large amounts of data from multiple sources
  • Previous E-Commerce experience would put you in a strong position, however, this is not essential but a big advantage
  • Experienced in site analytics tools (GA or Adobe)
